Veterinary Endoscopy
An endoscopy is a minimally-invasive procedure that helps our veterinarians visualize your pet’s organs and internal systems, without the need to perform surgery. Endoscopy is performed with a tool called an endoscope, a tube with a camera and light on the tip that can be guided throughout the body. The endoscope can be inserted into a small incision or naturally-existing orifice. Most pets do not typically experience pain or discomfort after the procedure, and your pet will spend a minimal amount of time under anesthesia.
We currently offer veterinary endoscopic procedures at our 24hr location in Huntington, West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center. For questions or to request more information about our endoscopy services, please call us at 516-676-6161.
